The Merriman would like to proudly announce Dr. Maryjo Cleveland as the Merriman's new Medical Director. We would also like to announce Dr. Preeti Betkerur as our Attending Physician. Dr. Cleveland provides residents with outstanding medical care and services. Dr. Maryjo Cleveland was recognized by "Best Doctors in America" in the Cleveland Magazine's ediction of Northeast Ohio's best doctors for six consecutive years.
Fellowship Trained and Certified in Geriatrics, she truly is a specialist in meeting the unique needs of older adults.
She has a depth of experience working with problems common to older adults such as memory loss, functional decline, and depression. She also places a premium on rehabilitation and maximizing functional ability. Working in combination with our staff of health professionals including Nurse Practitioners, the medical services at The Merriman truly are second to none.
